Classes
New to The Hacienda Anura Bead Company is Gloria who serves as the beginning class instructor and is here to assist you with all of your beading needs.
My name is Gloria, I spend most of my days teaching and working in the Bead Store. When I'm not at the Bead Store, all my time is spent with my beautiful 5 year old daughter Kiaralanna Jewelz, who also very much enjoys to bead.
I started touching and playing with beads when I was 4 years old. My mother is one of the most creative and talented jewelers that I have ever came across and she passed the passion on to only one of her 3 daughters- which so happens to be me. I carry on her passion for beading and continued learning of new ways of making jewelry. I hope, and have a strong feeling that Kiaralanna will carry on through life with the same passion for beads. I look forward to working with Claire, Noel and the other wonderful instructors here for a long time to come and hope to meet many more great people that walk through our doors.
BeadClasses-
We offer project bead classes on Wednesdays and Sundays. You may pick your choice of project from those we offer, but your must schedule the class. All project classes come with written directions.

The new above classes can be scheduled 10:30AM or 1:30PM Wednesday, or Sunday. $40.00 + materials-Classes run 3-4 hours of intense instruction and although you will not complete the project, you will know how to do so.
On Saturday at 10:00am and 1:30pm, we offer instruction to beginners. We work with you individually to make sure you truly understand what you are learning.

CLASS 3- MAKE A MULTI-STRAND NECKLACE-THE VARIOUS WAYS $15.00 + MATERIALS
Learn to attach several strands to a wire and slide thru a cone
To attach several strands to a multi-strand clasp
to use leather crimp ends and bead tips
To use strand connectors
Findings available for multi-strand pieces.

Class 4-Knotting-Tin Cup Style or regular-$15.00 + materials
Learn to tie and place the knot with tweezers
The different types of string you can use
Findings for different projects.

How it all works:
We do not yet require prepayment with registration for a class. If the no-show rate rises, this is subject to change.
We do not cancel classes due to a low turnout-minimum class size is 1.
Mature youngsters who can interact well with adults and want to learn are welcomed.
Please come early to do your shopping; classes start on time.
When you sign up for a class, you will have a material list available. You are welcome to bring any or all of your materials as long as they meet the requirements of the project. Anything you do not have, you are of course welcome to purchase.
We supply bead mats, optivisors, ott lites, notepads and pens, and mirrors on the table for your use.
You may rent a bag of tools for use in the store for $5, but if you do so we ask that you not use any of yours which you may have brought along. This avoids unintended mix-ups.
Most of the Project classes are intended to last about 2 hours-in some that will be enough time to finish the project, in others you will finish at home. You may pop in at your convenience to get assistance on the project should you get stuck after leaving class.
Some of the classes are available with a materials list or as kits. These are in set colors; we do not customized kits.
